this list is a tennbend of:

The tops acts that I saw at Coachella this year durning my two days out in the sun. No surprise at who ends up at #1.

Roky Erickson and the Explosives

This was my big find of the concert. Hadn't ever heard of them before but decided to stop in while walking by. They sounded really great with their Southern Rock and it allowed me to crash in a tent for a bit to get my enenry back up.

Manu Chao

The group that went on right before Rage. Also hasn't heard any of their music before, but for performing for a crowd that had just chucked a water bottle straight into the chest of the singer from Crowded House, they put on a great show.

The Good The Bad and The Queen

A great way to wind down Saturday. They played straight through their album, super chill, and the wind started kicking up making a great atmospher.

Foutains of Wayne

The first band I saw of the festival. Nothing special, just a solid set.

The Fratellis

These guys would probably be higher if I had caught more of their performance. Unfortunately I missed a good amount of it as they overlapped with Foutains of Wayne.

The New Pornographers

A lot of fun. They played a lot of songs off of Twin Cinema which is a great album and the banter between sets was great. Travis was playing on the next stage over and they stopped for a while and tried to get the crowd to sing along to their song.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

I've never been the hugest Chili Peppers fan, but damn these guys are talented and just rocked.

Kaiser Chiefs

This show was a lot of fun with a great frontman who was scaling the stage and crowd surfing.

The Roots

Third time I've seen the roots and I stand by the fact that they could be the most talented music act I've ever seen live. They give everyone a solo during the show to tare it up and can and do play everytime of music during their set. Just amazing.

Rage Against The Machine

What is there to say. The guys came back and rocked the place like they had been just practicing for the last seven years. Huge mosh pits, people lighting stuff on fire, ect. The show was everything I could have hoped for and more.
